Youtube
The Youtube channel
Some recipes will have a small video attached to them as well. You can go to the youtube channel and parse the videos at https://www.youtube.com/c/FoodbyDrygast
It is very clear that I am a beginner in filming and editing videos, but I have discovered that it is also very fun. I can say with great certainty that you can expect an increase in quality over time as I become more comfortable with everything involved in that process. One of the first things I discovered about filming recipes is the importance of preparation and how often an entire video can be sabotaged by the camera deciding to zoom in on something and then stay there ...
Plans for the future
The most important thing that the channel will bring is the opportunity to link recipes on this page to a description in video form, but the hope is that I can expand the channel to be self-sufficient. What I mean by that is that I hope I can offer good enough value in the videos themselves so that they are not dependent on the recipes on this site, but that they will still be linked. I will also create some playlists in the future for different concepts I am thinking of. There is currently only one playlist "Swedish Clässics" where I publish what I consider to be typical Swedish recipes. I want to see similar playlists in the future based on different origins of recipes. I have no plans to stand in front of the camera yet, but if things would take off then maybe it could be a possibility. In that case, I start by keeping my face away from the image (like binging with babish) because no one should have to see it. :)
