A quick and easy apple cake that can be mixed together in the same saucepan in which the butter is melted.

It is a cake that is more like a sponge cake with apple, which is nice to have together with some coffee and custard.

  1. Start the oven at 200°C.
  2. Peel and slice the apples. Place them in a spring form (approx. 25 cm diameter or similar). Cover with sugar and cinnamon and stir a bit.
Batter
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Mix in the sugar and stir.
  2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and mix everything into a smooth batter.
  3. Pour the batter over the apples - distribute evenly.
  4. Bake at the bottom of the oven for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Let cool and dust with some icing sugar.
  6. Serve with e.g. custard.
